Putting My Experience to Work
My name is Zach Withers and I'm running for District 22. I was born and raised in the East Mountains, where I learned the values of hard work, perseverance and community. I believe that, regardless of party lines, we can come together as a community to address the important issues that affect us all. If elected, I will focus on promoting food sovereignty, managing and distributing our water resources intelligently, fostering small business growth and reducing bureaucracy.
My approach to issues that impact our community.
My politics are local. They focus on water, land, food, and local economy. I am not running to push a partisan agenda or an ideological viewpoint. Effective governance is not a matter of political or social ideologies, but of vibrant democratic process and an informed and engaged community. Effective governance starts with electing people that are invested in working on behalf of everyone in their community to address the very real and pressing issues we face in stead of advancing their own political agendas, the party line, or the financial interests of their donors.​ You can hear from me about this approach and the issues regularly on my YouTube channel, on Facebook, and on Instagram
